My co-author Wendy Freshman and I are delighted to announce the publication of Making History: Have a Blast with 15 Crafts, Creative Projects from the Minnesota Historical Society.
At the request of the MN History Center, we designed 15 crafts to engage children and their families in hands-on exploration of Minnesota history and culture. History comes alive through diverse crafts based on museum collections, historical events and things quintessentially Minnesotan. We designed printable templates and wrote step-by-step directions to make crafting fun and do-able.
Published by the Minnesota Historical Society Press in November 2014, with photos by Bill Jolitz. Available for purchase at the MN History Center, www.mnhspress.org/makinghistory , Minnesota bookstores and Amazon.com
